The drains in your home may be what is most alluring to these pests. If your drains are clogged in any way, it may be attracting these pests to the drain, as this is where they will nest and lay their eggs. If you see fruit flies coming and going around a drain in your home, you need to clean the drain using a drain-cleaning liquid.
